The sheep from Agroturismo Na Set Centes enjoying some relaxed time among the early flowers blossoming in January 2013. Nnormally these flowers blossom every March. However, the wonderful weather we are enjoying in this early January have helped them to blossom earlier.
Local market in Artà, also in winter, takes place every Tueday, from about 9.00 a.m. to 13.15 p.m.
These are typical Mallorcan baskets made from palm leaves. In the past the whole area of Artà and Capdepera was specialized in these kind of artisan work. Still in the 70s and 80s there were many ladies who carried on with this activity. Nowdadays less and less people make by hand this basket. Fortunately there are still some artisans to keep the tradion on.
Artà is situated at 2,7 Km. from Agroturismo Na Set Centes, 3 minutes by car.
